NEW CHRISTIAN ROCK MUSIC SHOW BRINGS TOGETHER ORIGINAL MUSIC, DANCE AND SPECTACULAR VISUALS THAT WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD
The promise of a new heaven and a new earth is at the heart of a breath-taking new Gospel Rock Musical Event, Forever and Ever, premiering at The Columbia performance venue in New Westminster on April 13 and 14 at 8:00 pm.
Tracing the 4000 year journey of the great hope of Christian faith through original songs performed by the 12-member The New Jerusalem Project Band, Forever and Ever draws on the creative and spiritual vision of composer/director Thomas Hogge. “I have been focusing on a very important command from the Bible”, says the mega-talented faith-inspired musician and composer from the Tri-Cities area, “He told us to ‘love one another ‘“.
Joining writer/director/producer Hogge in this production premiere is co-producer and fellow musician and recording engineer Miles Foxx Hill. The duo has brought together a top tier team of professional musicians, dancers and visual effects artists to bring Hogge’s story-rich songs to the stage.
Tom Arntzen, one of Vancouver’s best known pianist/singers, is front and centre with The New Jerusalem Project band on keyboards and vocals. Vocalists Laura Doyle, Darlene Ketchum and Glenda Rae bring a wealth of performance and recording experience to the mix. Drummer Phil Robertson has played with major artists over a 25 year career including Michael Buble. Guitarists Tim Porter and Olaf DeShield also bring decades of stage, touring and studio experience to bear. Rounding out The New Jerusalem Project Band is a stellar horn section, with the always in-demand saxophonist Steve Hilliam (Colin James Band), the award-winning Vince Mai on trumpet and seasoned trombonist Rod Murray.
